Caramel: US Trailer

Caramel

Here is the US trailer:

Ever since I heard about Caramel, I have been dying to see it. It will be coming to US theaters on February 1, 2008. The movie is somehow daring in its idea and content, some are with it and others are against it. I think it is about time the Arab world opened up to such issues, especially if we take into consideration that such cases similar to the ones discussed in the movie actually do exist. We either acknowledge it now, or we move on and continue to burry our heads in the sand.

Nadine Labaki has done a great job. I am proud of her as a rising female director/actress and I look forward to see more of her work :)
