Right of Return

“You still can’t find Israel on a map of the Middle East in a Palestinian schoolbook.”

~ Suzanne Fields

Going through some pictures on Flickr, I read a comment by an Israeli asking why Palestinians would not simply surrender and admit they lost the war against Israel. Give up on their land, homes, and basically whole lives. Palestinians are not cowards, and their belief in their cause will keep them fighting until they get their land back. So in case anyone did not know, you just read it here.

(Just something I needed to let out)

actually, the Palestinians surrendered long time ago. the problem is that israel refuses to accept their surrender. israel wants to empty the holy land from as many non-jews as possible. either by expelling them, killing them, destroying their civilian infrastructures, destroying their economy, taking over their vital natural resources such as water, …

So surrender is not acceptable to Israel. anything short of a mass transfer of non-jews is not acceptable. that’s why israeli jews don’t want peace based UN principles and resolutions. they want to tie the non-jews in perpetual “peace” process while expansion of jewish colonies eats up non-jewish territories.

The israelis are the most racist people on earth. To explain, lets take the Chechen and the Kashmiris. Both want independence. But if they declare their surrender, their worst case scenario is that they both will become full citizens of the occupying power with full rights and protections granted to Russian and Indian citizens. For non-Jews in Israel, surrender means to live for eternity as sub-human subjects of a supremacist jewish state.

I disagree with you Abbadi, because with everything that is going on now I do not think that the Palestinians surrendered. Just yesterday, 10 Israelis were killed and 20+ were wounded (According to the last time I checked). There will be casualties from both sides until Israel admits its faults.
