A Jordanian Family’s Ordeal

Please click on the link and read the whole thing including the comments where you will find some of the hundreds of links that published the story in an attempt to get attention and demand legal action following the horrible treatment one Jordanian citizen had to go through in Prince Hamza’s Hospital … Or should I say Prince Hamza’s Butchery?!

And they say الإنسان أغلى ما نملك

Enough is enough. Till when do citizens have to pay for the Jordanian government’s incompetent workers’ mistakes? I can confidently say people in Jordan are treated like crap, and here I refer to people who are wasta-less and/or poor. When a patient goes through hell and gets out of a hospital even sicker than before he got in, then something is terribly wrong.

1) THE HOSPITAL IS ONLY ONE YEAR OLD.

2) THE JORDANIAN GOVERNMENT SPENT MORE THAN 67.7 MILLION JDS TO BUILD THE DAMN HOSPITAL! Where the hell did the money go if the hospital is in fact closer to an abandoned dumpster area than to a hospital?

The story has already been published in a few newspapers such as Addustour, AmmonNews, and Rum. MANY bloggers have posted about it to spread the word. The family has been contacted and told an investigation is taking place. A lawsuit MUST be filed. They might not win, but at least they are standing up for their simple rights as human beings. The patient had high blood pressure and ended up with a brain seizure, severe pneumonia, kidney malfunction, and blood infection!

To the so-called doctors and the heartless nurses: I hope you bastards get what you deserve, we are not in a zoo. They are people you are treating, not animals. They are lives you are responsible for in front of God and in front of yourselves before anyone else. You have no conscience whatsoever, very outrageous and shameful.

May God be with the patient and his family and help them get through their ordeal.

Kindly spread the word.

P.S. Please do not leave tasteless comments doubting anyone’s patriotism or intentions. Loving Jordan means working together to improve our society and to build a thriving future where such cases are unheard of.

are you saying there are idiots out there who equate criticism of this criminally incompetent establishment called Hamzah Hospital with hating Jordan?

They must be relatives or friends of this “hospital” officials. The only people who defend incompetence and mediocrity are the corrupt and the incompetent and the beneficiaries of this culture of mediocrity and corruption which dominates our government.

My dad is a doctor and this happens all the time at many hospitals. A lot of times he TELLS people that he can’t treat them unless they go to one of the few hospitals he trusts.
